Lawrence D. "Larry" McCrann
Vice President of Sales
In the over 100-year history of Edward Ehrbar, Inc., few have had the impact on the company that Larry has. With close to 40 years of service, Larry has amassed a sales record that few, if any, have ever matched in the New York metropolitan construction equipment market. Over the years, Larry has been credited with close to one billion dollars in equipment sales, first as a field representative covering Long Island's Suffolk County, and later as Field Sales Manager beginning in 1984. Today, as Vice President of Sales, he continues to drive and motivate the Ehrbar sales force with a deft touch, firmly directing the way while also nurturing the process. Larry's understanding of cost-benefit analysis, production techniques, and the competitive advantages of the equipment and services provided by Ehrbar, are all reinforced in each sales representative's ability to assist our customers in the right solution of equipment, financing, and product support.
Larry's dedication to the industry is such that his personal leisure time is mostly spent in the company of customers and prospects. A native Long Islander and a Viet Nam veteran, he enjoys boating throughout the northeast.

With nearly 30 years in the construction equipment industry, Steve has truly learned the business "from the ground up." Hired by Edward Ehrbar, Inc. as a parts expeditor in 1982, Steve moved quickly into the company's sales department, preparing quotes, working on bids, and interacting with the field sales staff. In 1984, Steve hit the road as a sales representative when Ehrbar opened a facility in South Plainfield, New Jersey. After 20 successful years in the field, Steve was appointed to his current position in November of 2004. As Sales Manager, Steve works closely with the inside sales staff formulating equipment proposals for the field representatives. In addition, Steve acts as a key liaison between Ehrbar and the various equipment manufacturers they represent. He says, "I like the challenges inherent to the construction industry here in New York, and I really enjoy the people associated with it."
A graduate of Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania, Steve resides in Mt. Sinai, Long Island, with his wife Christine and their two sons, Stephen and Christopher. In his free time, Steve enjoys playing in his band, golf, watching sports, and helping to coach Christopher's Little League baseball team.
